under the overpass, and over the underpass
I'm a bit behind on having something to say about this week's acquisitions and listenings, but in the meantime you could go and have a read of Darren's discussion of the Pavement re-issue, which Pitchfork rather predictably gave ten out of ten to. I've already got a backlog of re-issues to get around to buying (eg. The Go-Betweens), so this one'll have to wait, assuming I get it at all.
Oh, I found my copy of Merzbow's door open at 8am after all this time - it was uncovered behind a pile of somebody else's books when we were moving everything upstairs today. It feels good to have that dose of throbby goodness handy again.
