pharmacy records at the rob roy, 2003-08-01

I was a bit too disorganized to make it to Yo La Tengo (who were apparently very good) or Evan Dando (who was apparently pretty bad, at least on the Saturday night) on Friday night, but I did somehow make it along to the Rob Roy to catch some Pharmacy Records bands. Cam Butler did his Guitar Orchestra thing, with a bit of looping going on to add to the fun. Diving Bell put on a good show, and Registered Nurse did the usual thing (ie. more loud than quiet, which is fine by me, but doesn't help when I try to explain to friends that "look, the albums aren't all that loud, ok?". But anyway...
