random gnus bits

For what it's worth, I chucked a few snippets of code over a my.gnus.org, which seems to have changed almost completely since the last time I looked at it.

Also, if you'd never noticed before, I wrote a few mostly-Gnus-related Emacs bits a while ago, that live elsewhere on my website, pilot-memo probably being the most useful one.
