wanna hear my heart break, if it must break...
Songs: Ohia are coming to Melbourne ! 22nd of Feb at the Corner Hotel with Art of Fighting (although AoF may be the headlining gig, since next-to-nobody's heard of Songs: Ohia...). Haiyan put me onto them a while back (I think it was the first really good stuff I picked up off epitonic), and Steve told me about the gig, having found the band himself during his Korean work gig. Go have a listen - it's the work of one guy, Jason Molina, in that stripped-back Bill Callahan / Will Oldham kind of way, but with a slightly higher voice (don't worry, it works out just fine).
