Kenneth Branagh was born today too, eh ? I wonder what that means.
Very much enjoying the curse of the mekons, from Sally's country cover (wild and blue) through to the curse / authority / funeral. Not quite as rock as the blistering rock 'n' roll, but pretty close. I fit all my Mekons album onto a single CD (as mp3's), which makes it terribly convenient to cart around in the old sack.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.

Happy Birthday Man!
Hmm, Kenneth eh? Ever had delusions of grandeur involving a 4 hour version of Hamlet and scenes of swashbuckling? No? You're doing ok then :D

sometimes I feel my whole life is a delusion of grandeur, but no, I've never buckled anybody's swash.
