Graham must have ESP, 'cause just on Friday we were teaching a co-worker about vegemite. Apparently he tried it over the weekend and likes it, so all our warnings to "spread it thin !" must've stuck.
I must admit I "defected" to Marmite somewhere in those dark teenage years where, in some kind of search for identity I did all sorts of things to try and reclaim my "Englishness" (I've long since given up on that, you may or may not be pleased to know). I'm not sure which is more frightening, though - that somebody's written a poem about Marmite, or that one person seems to run both the I Love Marmite and I Hate Marmite websites.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
