friendly local labels

I'd heard a lot of good stuff about the Notwist's Neon Golden (eg. Drawer B's review), and it looks like Spunk have too, 'cause they're gonna be doing a local release. I chanced upon this via Sound Quality's playlist for last Friday - "What ? It's out on Spunk ? Why didn't I know this earlier ?" At least it means I might finally have a chance of finding it. I'm half-expecting this to turn out like it did with the American Analog Set - I finally find a copy of know by heart, and the band goes and breaks up (or at least goes on extended holiday. or something. via timmy, via alex).
