I just wanted a new pair of jeans, but I looked at too many pairs. Too many shades of blue, too many different cuts, none of them Quite Right. One pair was worth $560, another $60. It didn't make much difference in the end, 'cause I couldn't see myself wearing any of them (visualization's a curse). This is what I call Toxic Option Syndrome (taken from some really old cartoon in a computer magazine, possibly even in the 1980's). Life was so much easier when I wore black all the time, when buying a new pair of jeans meant going down to a shop and buying another pair of black 501s the same size as before. I guess I'll just have to relax, and try again later.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.

I dunno if I'm cool enough for either of those two.
Tsubi jeans give me overly superficial thoughts (as in, "I could save myself a few hundred dollars if I go find an old pair of jeans and draw all over them with a Liquid Paper pen by myself, thank you very much"). I almost bought one of their t-shirts in Surfer's Paradise, though.
gah. I'll have another look around this evening.
