it's a curse

Just quickly, acb and I have had a photo each used in an article at Cosmik Debris about Curse ov Dialect. I don't suppose anybody can tell me if the new album's any good ? I've been super-busy with other stuff, and haven't had time to do a heap of (repeated) listening to new purchases like Jonathan Goes Country or that Black Keys album. But soon, soon. I even ripped an old Skinny Puppy album or two into iTunes, just for nostalgia's sake, the other night. What's happening to me?

How's the new Black Key's album? Been idly
thinking of buying it.

Remember me? :)

I haven't been buying/listening to a lot of bluesy stuff lately, but this one's great fun. It was one of those mornings where you're standing on the tram going past the zoo, and 3RRR plays something that blows your ears out and you think "wow, I've got to get me one of those!"

Nat:

Those moments are great - unfortunately they don't happen to me all that often. Actually, I lie - I heard Ed Harcourt play a live set on JJJ a few weeks ago while I was driving home and sat in car well after I'd gotten home and listened to the whole thing.

I've been listening to Supergrass's Life on Other Planets almost continuously for the past year.

cos:

Nifty. Still haven't invested any time in Ed Harcourt yet (one of these days).

_Life on other planets_ was going for $15, and my Supergrass-loving sister talked me into buying it. I'll get to it soon, when I can wrest myself away from _Jonathan goes Country_.

Speaking of which, Beck's _Sea Change_ is also going for $15 at JB. If you don't have it, go get it. Excellent album!
