What luxury. I'm stuck at 1024x768 on this thing (a cruel, cruel fate if you knew what I get up to on my desktop machines with large monitors), so I just have my dock out of sight, where it doesn't get in the way of my terminal windows - there's only room for two, side by side, with a third hanging around above or below. Oh, the humanity. Desktop Manager helps a bit, but only in the sense that I'm back where I was almost 10 years ago - stuck on a small screen, with half my work out of sight most of the time. This is what I get for wanting portable technology, I guess.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
