hail bob
Well, he was 45 minutes late, but Bob Log III officially went off at Missing Link's new digs this evening. Sounding suitably primal behind his Helmet-with-telephone-handset, his slide guitar plus kick drum and drum machine schtick actually worked. I'll admit to being in two minds about him beforehand, but I'm sold. It's the new lo-fi bluesTM, or something.
I didn't get any photos, 'cause I was stuck up the back (much like Saturday night's Blackeyed Susans gig). Ah well. I've got the memories. I did manage to pick up The Real New Fall LP, the new Royalchord EP Hug the Shadows, and acb's birthday present (I've never been this organized, before).
