desperation a.m.

I'm not sure what to make of the Pixies countdown (2 hours and 45 minutes, it sez). A bit too anticipatory? Don't we know better than to get worked up over reunions by now? All this over-Easter work must be making me cynical (my activity here's inversely proportional to the amount of out-of-hours work I have to do, if you hadn't noticed).

Personally, I spent much of the weekend listening to Gang of Four again. The bass lines are permanently lodged in my head, now, but I've still got time for a bit of that Sundowners compilation when I need something...else.

The in-tray's growing. I've got a last year's mekons release, Merzbow's last of the analog sessions and a Tripod CD to listen to (they used some of my photos on the cover...somewhere), among other things.
