It must be box season - Flying Nun Records has a 25th anniversary boxed set available - The Clean, Bailterspace, The 3Ds, The Verlaines, JPS Experience, The Bats, The Chills, Straitjacket Fits, The Mint Chicks. Oh, and a 100-page "coffee-table book". A bit fancier than the Labrador 10th anniversary collection, and the price reflects this (about NZD$150). Ouch. But I've got one on the way anyway. Annoyingly, none of the online retailers seem to want to sell me a Flying Nun t-shirt. What to do? (oh, wait. they're available here. but ouch! again!)

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.

Good to see that disc 1 has a Gordons (the pre Bailter Space) track too.
