This Friday (ie. tomorrow night), The Immediatists are playing at Scarlette in Smith St for 2 hours from about 8:30. See their page for some music samples which seem sufficiently rambly and interesting to me to try and get along tomorrow night (thanks for the heads up, Zac).
Next Friday (16th), Pink Stainless Tail are playing at the Brunswick Hotel in Sydney Rd (the one near Barkly Square shopping centre, I think?) as a warm-up for things to come, I hear.
