I may have stopped writing (the mood hasn't been right all week), but on the other hand I finally started reading again, figuring a dose of Frank Moorhouse's wit might pull me out of this work-induced funk. And while I haven't listened to all my new purchases yet (even that Moshi Moshi compilation I'd been looking for ever since my 2000 NYC trip), I've at least been listening to music fairly solidly while I work. There's some kind of minor victory in this, I reckon. But if I can get more people to use our internal Jabber server at work, maybe I won't have to pause every few minutes to answer the phone, and hence be able to listen to music all day, non-stop.
