I'm listening to the two gay dad albums to try and rouse myself from this after-work torpor. It's almost working too, though I'm aware that for the most part they're enjoyable because they sound like other bands (the song playing when I started this post, for instance - dateline - is very supergrasssy). I do wish dimstar wasn't the opener on the first album, because the rest doesn't quite reach the same nighttime-city-movement high you get from that track. This isn't challenging music, but this isn't the time for that.
