Rob Snarski and Dan Luscombe are playing the Rob Roy tomorrow night with Wagons. Both of these acts put out wonderful CDs last year - There is nothing here that belongs to you and Trying to get home, respectively. Rob and Dan have proved beyond any doubt that they're not just doing a "Blackeyed Susans-light" show, and Henry Wagons is our very own Man in Brown.
Having just wandered through the local Gene Clark tribute (which also comes with nice little CD of original work by the contributing artists) I'm really looking forward to the forthcoming Friendly Injun album, whether it's released on my birthday or not.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
