Not getting enough Phillip Glass-scored imagery in your diet ? Get thee to the Astor next Tuesday night, June 3rd* to catch Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi. I watched a DVD of Koyaanisqatsi, and while I was blown away watching it on a TV, I can appreciate that it'd be somewhat more spectactular on the Big ScreenTM.
Now that Naqoyqatsi's out (screening here later in June), it'd be interesting to play all 3 films at once - I suspect it'd end up much like that Current 93 album I've got, only with video.
* Why's everything happening on June 3rd ? It's like that old Yello song.
