the mountain goats at the tote
John Darnielle (ie. The Mountain Goats) was in fine form last night, providing a show full of wit (both during and between songs) to the fairly small crowd of us who turned up to the Tote. Good stuff. Support was Deloris and Showbag. After the gig he hung around and sold a few CDs and 7inch singles, chatting with the fanboys about why he didn't (or couldn't) play song X from album Y - you know how it is...
