news, of sorts

Josh Rouse apparently has a new album on the way, called 1972.

Mark Eitzel's been busy, having just released an album of Greek covers of his own songs, and now he's Getting The Band Back Together^TM?

Meanwhile, I've been listening to the Gersey album (Storms Dressed As Stars) after picking it up yesterday afternoon. It's nice. A bit Art of Fighting, only slightly less delicate. And he mentions the word "motorway", too, which strikes me as odd - who ever refers to those big roads in Melbourne as motorways? It's conceivable that he's talking about somewhere else, although I remember Stephen Cummings singing about the "Westgate Bridge motorway" once upon a time. Maybe it just sounds better.
