Meat Beat Manifesto has a new album out as part of Thirsty Ear's Blue Series, called At The Centre. It's notable because Jack Dangers is a) (finally?) looking into jazz, and b) playing with other live instruments (or human beings, if you want to put it that way). I'll be looking forward to this - I've got a great deal of listening pleasure from MBM's most recent stuff (R U O K ? and the ...in dub rework of it), and it's always good to see one of your heroes make a left turn all of a sudden.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
