The weekend's shopping:
Alternative Animals - another late-70's Australian music compilation, with a second disc containing CD-ROM (not DVD - how odd) stuff that I haven't had the chance to look at yet, but I'm certainly interested to see the 1978 interview with Nick Cave and Rowland S. Howard, and some of the other interview stuff, too.
Radio Sumatra: The Indonesian FM Experience which isn't quite as compelling as, say, SF's Cambodian Cassette Archives release, but interesting nonetheless. The call-in karaoke's pretty good fun, mind you.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
