r.i.p. derek bailey?

Brainwashed mentions this about the infamous improv guitarist:

Unconfirmed reports have come in stating that Derek Bailey passed away yesterday (Christmas Day, 2005) in Spain.

His Wikipedia entry already seems to have been updated, referencing this forum post. I'm sure The Wire will have something to say soon - they just had a cover-feature interview with him a few months back. I haven't heard much of his stuff, but it makes for interesting (if difficult) listening.
