where to find off the hip's new shop in the city

DSC00322

Power pop and rock 'n' roll merchants Off The Hip have moved their shop from Preston to the CBD - just behind the fishing tackle shop at 381 Flinders Lane, on the laneway leading downhill to Flinders Lane. It's right next to this great Keep Clear sign, but don't mind my little obsessions (I just noticed yesterday that out of nearly 4000 photos I've put on flickr, I have 949 tagged as "Signs").

It's a nice little space - I'm looking forward to returning soon to pore over the vinyl and also to pick up a copy of Tomorrow is Today (which they didn't have in at the moment). In the meantime, I picked up a CD each by Velvet Crush and Wau Y Los Arrrghs !!! (also).
