So, it's not enough for you that Duran Duran are touring here in support of Robbie Williams (much like how Matthew Sweet only manages to tour here again by coming along with his new band The Thorns, in support of the Dixie Chicks. Gah. But don't mind me)? Never fear, 'cause they're remastering and rereleasing some old Japan and David Sylvian albums: Gentlemen Take Polaroids, Oil on Canvas, Tin Drum and the post-Japan album Rain Tree Crow, along with Sylvian's Alchemy an Index of Possibilities, Brilliant Trees, Gone to Earth and Secrets of the Beehive. They're loaded with extra tracks and photos and stuff, it seems. I saw one comment on Amazon suggesting the quality wasn't so good, but mostly people seem happy with them.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
