I'm busily enjoying last year's Bluebottle Kiss album Doubt Seeds (they're playing tomorrow night at the NSC, too) and also finally got around to downloading the first Knoxville Girls album from emusic, which went down fabulously on a lazy pre-long-weekend evening. Oh, and I found a copy of Wire's thoroughly panned Manscape yesterday on Smith St (y'know, for completeness' sake).
On the reading front, a trip to Polyester yielded 2 books by the long-recommended Stewart Home - Down and Out in Shoreditch and Hoxton and Tainted Love, which make a fair change from (re-)reading old travel books.
All I need now is to do a bit of exploring tomorrow, if the weather's good.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
