Speaking of starting again, I may as well point out (perhaps a little sheepishly) that one of the factors in deciding to quit my 6.5-year job at the end of 2005 was listening to this particular Acid House Kings song a great many times and thinking "I want to be happy." And so it began. There's more to divest myself of (for one, I'm still fighting the whole work ethic thing that sits on my shoulder and tells me I should be working 50-or-more hour weeks like I used to), but I'm on my way. Get it here, courtesy of Labrador Records.

I may not (so far) run the kind of blog that posts social conscience linkage - other friends seem to have it covered better than I could manage (yes, I'm aware that's no excuse), but this doesn't mean that I don't care about the State of ThingsTM.
